He Aka Hui | Leadership in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

This session was focused on Leadership in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and ran from 10am to 12pm online and was open to all professionals working in disability support services, health, and in the community.

We learnt about the strategic importance of PBS within the Equitable Access to Wellbeing framework and discover how PBS can deliver strong benefits, particularly in the support of people with high and complex needs. This session featured expert presentations, interactive discussions, and practical case studies.

Outcomes were:

  • Increase awareness of PBS.
  • Demonstrate the use and effectiveness of PBS across various settings.
  • Promote PBS training.
