Walk Together are preparing their special one-day Te Tiriti Implementation Pathways. They are supporting groups and organisations to get ready and prepare for 2026, by opening limited spaces for summer workshops during October to December. More spaces will be available early next year.
Our most popular Connect & Collaborate offering is the Te Tiriti Pathway, a one-day experience that takes groups from awareness to confident, practical steps for implementation. It’s designed for those who want to embed Te Tiriti in their practices but feel unsure where to begin, or who need clear guidance to move forward.
Some outcomes you can expect:
- Mapping your current and future state for culturally responsive Te Tiriti implementation
- Collecting and pulling together voices from those attending prior to the workshop
- Practical process driven tasks to engage your team
- Strategies to get everyone in the waka, rowing in the same direction
- Foundations for a strategic plan
Their last workshop involved representatives from many organisations who came together to improve Te Tiriti responsiveness across their collective. Here’s what they said about their day with Walk Together.
‘Loved it, a well-rounded experience, emotional stirring, confronting moments, informative, connection with all involved’
‘The experience was very positive. It helped forge stronger relationships, understanding and the path forward.’
‘You created space for each person and a sense of safety for people to share. That’s not an easy thing to do!’
They are offering a one hour online collaborative mapping session where they can hear about what you need in this space. Here is the link to the booking schedule: Collaborative Te Tiriti Mapping with Walk Together.
The workshops are $7,700+ GST for up to 20 people. It includes a collaborative mapping session, pre-readiness survey voice collection, a before, during and after plan to keep momentum going, and foundations for a specialised Te Tiriti implementation strategic plan. Each pathway is guided by two facilitators, with the process shaped around the specific needs of your organisation or collective. The emphasis is on applied implementation, rather than on historical or educational content.
